Everyone knows that I had expected to have the baby between the 38.5 and 39.5 week mark because of my history. At that time Asher was recovering from a staph infection. Now we're up with croup! Maybe we'll have this baby when he's recovered- is that 10 days?
That remark was slightly sarcastic and made last night just before my battery died. Now that it's morning, let me say that Asher really is very sick. His wheezing is really bad. Please pray for him to not be ill long. He had mild RSV as an infant (he caught it when we lived in the 1 bedroom, and all the other children had it, too, but I thought it was a cold). Anyway, he is more susceptible and his immune system is probably down from such a long course of antibiotics for staph (he is a carrier and tends to get repeat infections). He insists on Ian holding him constantly, and he can't sleep laying down, so he's been in Ian's arms all night and morning. Right now he's playing with the humidifier.

Oh Beck I'm so sorry. I'll be praying for God's peace and calm in the midst of this storm. Remember he feels your struggle and will uphold you! Wish I could be close by to give you a hug and encourage you! I love you!
