Well, I've learned two things: It's useless to prebake cookies for events more than two days away. They won't make it. Everybody's eating them even though they're frozen. Ok, I confess the worst offender is very pregnant. The other thing I've learned is that I'm not creative or artistic, but Micaela is. Yes, she made at least half of the paper flowers- the half that looks better. I didn't think she could do it as I grudgingly showed her how, but she took over and started going to town! She made flowers and talked just like a big girl. It was really fun. This morning we made the place cards and the sample hat. The hat will be bitty's, although bitty's head is a little too big. We'll just have to add some ties to tie it around her neck. So, if you talk to Micaela and she tries to tell you about her beautiful flowers, these are they!

I'm sure your flowers are beautiful. I wish I lived close to you so I could come to your birthday party. I like the American Girl books, when I taught first grade I used to read them to my class, even the boys liked them. I haven't read all of them but I would like to. How are Nathaniel and Gabriel doing? Do they get to be at your birthday party or is it girls only? I still think you were the best flower girl ever! Tell your mommy that since she wasn't impressed with Will that he has another newphew named Bradley and she would probably like him much better. He is 15 months old and very cute. His mommy's name is Becky just like your mommy's name. I am looking forward to seeing birthday pictures, have lots of fun.

Your birthday flowers are beautiful! It's getting close to party day and I bet you are excited. I have been looking at your pictures and I can see you have really grown this year. I love you very much and am very proud of you.

Those flowers are just gorgeous! You are very smart to help your mom do that. Wasn't it fun to do? You are learning lots of neat stuff! Your birthday party is going to be wonderful. Ask Mommy to take pictures or maybe even do a little video to post so we can see it. I really wish I could be there. You are getting to be so big and your outfit was cute. I like that top.
Do your brothers get to come to the party? Are they going to do something fun with daddy?
